Experience and Skills

PLEASE NOTE : I am not currently available for new clients

Before joining the NHS in 2013, as a trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), I had worked in various roles supporting others to maximise their mental health and wellbeing. I loved this work and all the amazing people I got to meet, but I was keen to go a little deeper and this led me to start my journey towards becoming a therapist.

I worked in the NHS for almost 8 years before covid, becoming a mother and a desire for more flexibility for myself and my clients led me to set up my own therapy practice in 2021.  One of the best decisions I have ever made!  I love the opportunity it gives me to ensure every client is able to access therapy in whatever way works best for them.  It has also
allowed me to really focus on my specific interests and strengths – working with anxiety (particularly OCD) using a combination of more traditional CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
