Experience and Skills

Welcome, I’m Fiz. I’m a qualified and registered Integrative Counsellor and Couples Therapist and I work relationally and collaboratively. I have two decades of experience working in a range of contexts including the education sector, an NHS-affiliated hospice, a national online counselling service, counselling charities and private practice.

You may be here because you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, family or cultural expectations, navigating a life transition, managing work-related stress, trying to thrive with ADHD or finding yourself returning to ways of coping that no longer serve you. Perhaps you’re experiencing difficulties in a relationship, recovering from an affair or betrayal, or struggling with limerence, an intense emotional attachment that can leave you preoccupied with another person and make it difficult to move forward.  Therapy with me allows you to work on what’s painful and keeping you stuck, while also identifying ways to create meaningful shifts in your life and relationships.

Who I work with and how I work:

  • I work with individuals who are looking to better understand themselves and their relationships and want to navigate life’s challenges with more confidence.
  • I also offer couples therapy for partners who feel they have lost their way, are experiencing distance or disconnect, a loss of intimacy, the impact of betrayal or childlessness/parenting pressures or the quiet drift that can happen in long-term relationships.
  • I also offer specialist support for teachers navigating school-related stressors, including workload pressures, work-life balance, imposter syndrome, burnout, difficult workplace dynamics, and the emotional demands of the role.

As an integrative practitioner trained in several modalities, I am able to draw on a range of approaches to tailor each session to your individual needs, circumstances and what feels most supportive for you. Alongside emotional insight, I offer practical strategies and reflections as I believe therapy is most effective when insight leads to action. I aim to help you feel clearer, calmer and able to live life authentically.

Please get in touch to arrange a session or introductory call to discuss how I can best support you in
creating the changes you’re looking for.
