Experience and Skills

Reaching out for support can feel daunting. You may be feeling anxious, low or overwhelmed, and wondering how things became this difficult. Perhaps you’ve begun to lose hope, feel worried about the future, notice strain within your relationships, or find that you’re no longer coping in the way you once did. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it on your own.

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with nearly 30 years of experience across the NHS and private practice. I work with adults, young people, couples and families, offering a calm, compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood and respected.

My approach is collaborative and thoughtful. I believe meaningful change happens when we gently explore things together — with curiosity, care and honesty. Alongside listening deeply, I offer practical tools and strategies to help you manage difficult emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and begin to feel more steady and confident in your life. We always move at a pace that feels safe for you.

Through decades of clinical work, including specialist roles with the British Red Cross and the FCDO, I have seen that even when life feels heavy or uncertain, healing is possible. People can recover from past experiences, rebuild relationships, and rediscover hope.

If you feel ready to take that first step, I am here to walk alongside you.

I also provide specialist psychological assessments, formal psycholegal/court reports and expert witness work where required.
