Hi, I’m Rachael and I would love to work with you to help you figure things out. It can feel overwhelming knowing where to start! Life can be hard and it can be hard knowing where to turn for help! Especially if you don’t know what is wrong.
Often, we are going through the motions trying to survive another day and it’s only when something happens it makes us stop and think. We realise in those moments that things somehow don’t feel right. Figuring out what can help you get back to how you wish to feel, or work out what is ‘right’ for you, is a key part of how counselling can help.
I have several years of experience and have worked with two mental health charities. Through my roles, I have supported people with a broad range of complex mental health issues such as PTSD (and other forms of trauma), suicidal thoughts, self harm, abuse, bereavement, anxiety, depression and issues of low self esteem.
I know everyone is not the same and what works for one person might not work for others which is why I don’t offer prescriptive advice. Rather, I will help enable you to find the answers and solutions that feel natural to you. After all, you know yourself best!
