I am a Person-Centred Counsellor and qualified Supervisor with over 18 years’ experience supporting people through a wide range of life experiences and challenges. My background includes youth work, bereavement support, and working with neurodivergent clients, alongside my established private counselling practice.
As a counsellor, I offer a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and change when supported within a trusting and accepting therapeutic relationship. My aim is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, recognise your own strengths and needs, and feel empowered to make choices that support your wellbeing.
I work with adults and young people aged 16 and over.
Alongside my counselling practice, I offer professional supervision to qualified counsellors and counsellors in training. As a Supervisor, I provide a safe, confidential, and collaborative space where supervisees can reflect on their client work, explore ethical and professional considerations, develop self-awareness, and continue to grow in their practice.
My supervision approach is grounded in person-centred values, offering empathy, respect, and thoughtful challenge while recognising each counsellor’s unique experience, knowledge, and way of working. I believe that good supervision supports counsellors to practise safely, ethically, and with confidence, while also providing a space to reflect on the emotional impact of their work.
Whether you are seeking counselling support or looking for a Supervisor to accompany you in your professional development, I believe that the quality of the relationship is central. Finding someone you feel comfortable with, who understands your needs and values your individual journey, is an important part of creating meaningful and effective work together.
