Managing GCSE Exam Stress
Running on Sat 21 March 2026 from 10am-12noon, this workshop will be delivered in a supportive, interactive format, combining discussion, guided reflection, and practical exercises. It is facilitated by a Young Person's Life Coach, also trained in NLP and EFT.
The workshop is designed to be accessible and sensitive to the additional pressures young people often experience around exam time, with no expectation for participants to share personal information unless they feel comfortable doing so. The workshop is delivered in one 2hr session.
Those attending will gain an understanding of their stress and anxiety, including how the brain responds under pressure (using the Inner Chimp model). Participants will learn how to normalise the stress responses, develop a circle of control, practice strategies for managing emotions during exam periods and explore a simple formula for success and how this can be applied to realistic, flexible revision planning.
